Lore

❖ I have a 3.5-year-old bat Chihuahua mix named Bruno! He's a rescue and fiercely independent. Here he is doing his signature head tilt (he does it more than any dog I've ever seen).

❖ I met my partner Brodie (Bruno's papa) in 2019. I had prescient dreams about meeting him for years without realizing. For every day I spent feeling misunderstood and in pain as an adolescent, he's made up for it a million times over.

❖ My favorite (analog) games are Solitaire and Boggle; my favorite video game series is Animal Crossing.

❖ I love science fiction, horror, and gothic literature, though I can't play horror games — but I love to watch Brodie play them. I also love horror movies, but Brodie can't watch them! I like the artistic degree of separation from the horror (i.e. I don't affect the plot) but he feels safer when he's in control, like in a game.

❖ I have three tattoos — one of Hamtaro, a silly crayon doodle of a dog, and an opal.

❖ I like to dabble in crafts, but don't really stick to anything. Random courses I've taken: bonsai care, hand lettering, bookbinding, bundle dyeing, hand knitting, jewelry making, ceramics.
